How does Dr. Carli perform a tummy tuck procedures?

Our tummy tuck specialist, Dr. Carli, will first examine the area to be operated on and decide on the best approach to utilize for your procedure. Typically, Dr. Carli will choose between two different incision types, either horizontally above the pubic area toward the hips or a smaller incision above the pubic area, making the incisions vertically up both hips. Working through the incision location, Dr. Carli will trim away excess skin from the abdomen and then tighten underlying muscles by pulling them together and stitching them in place.

Depending on a case-by-case basis, Dr. Carli may suggest a tummy tuck and breast augmentation procedure (for post-pregnancy patients), and/or liposuction to be performed along with abdominoplasty.
